Before there was Headless Chickens there was Children's Hour. The band were one and the same although the unfortunate suicide of bassist Johnny Pierce altered things somewhat.
Childrens Hour were a whole different ball game from where Headless Chickens went to though.
Dark, powerful, intense and at times overwhelming they mined similar but different territory to early Birthday Party.
This is a collection of the best live material around of the band mastered up to sound even better than their now deleted and never released on CD studio recordings.

Revs Per Minute is the six track mini album from Christchurch based four piece guitar band Chicane, showcasing material from Chicane's live set.
Including the tracks Downtime, V-Flare, Fabrication, She's Green, Scatter Bomb and Revs Per Minute. The upbeat Downtime has gained inclusion on Kiwi Hit Disc 14, with both V-Flare and She's Green having taken out the number one slot on Christchurch's Student Radio Station RDU listener-voted charts with Fabrication at number three.

Oscillator is Cicada's debut five track EP. Four tracks Winter, Alphajerk, Good, and Sway were recorded on 24 track at The Lab in September 1994 and engineered by Chris Van de Geer and produced by Richard Aspden and Cicada. Track five Spine was recorded at York Street Studio in April 1993, engineered by Malcolm Welsford and produced by Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke fame and producer of Shihad's Churn album. Oscillator captures well the elusive Cicada 'sound'; an invitation to new angles of listening pleasure.

difficult year of searching for a new drummer the
Malchicks have reunited with their old one and have
charged full speed into their overdue LP. Recorded
at the Lab Studios in Auckland this excellent LP follows
up on their 1992 debut EP Lotus but sees the Malchicks
hone their melodic skills and focus their songwriting,
presenting some great hook-infested guitar feasts.
Tracks are Head To Head, Milestone, Albatross,
Eros, Wonders Never Cease, Weatherman, Stranded In
Lost Time, Haley, Fade Again, Melting Sand.
